Super D NYE
Super D NYE - 12/31/2019
Made the trip after work to stop by Apple Valley Speedway to attend Super D NYE hosted by Animal Style. I wasn’t sure I was going to attend this event since I unexpectedly had work throughout NYE and New Years, but I managed to somehow gain some extra energy to come out and enjoy the event. The event started from morning and ended sometime after midnight.
The weather was perfect during the day, just a little chill with barely any winds. Once night fell, it became extra cold that I ended up walking around with extra layers; a beanie, puffy coat, and snow gloves. A lot of us made little campfires to gather around and stay warm. Times like these really makes me appreciate that Apple Valley Speedway is such a close track to us in SoCal. Not often do you get to camp, night drift, spectate, etc. with your friends at a track, especially during winter!
