Final Bout Special Stage West Pre-Meet
Hope everyone is doing well.
It has been about a month now since Final Bout Special Stage West, which also means it has been a month since the stay-at-home orders were set in place. Life has settled down a bit with the stay-at-home orders changing the way we all live. Many of us now work and school from home and find ourselves with a lot more time on our hands than previously. Everything considered non-essential has shut down. There is no such thing as traffic in Southern California, hang outs, drift events, meeting up for brunch/dinner, gathering for celebrations, hiking at state parks or trails, and grabbing tea/coffee with friends. We aren’t certain when the stay-at-home orders will be lifted but it’s nice to see the different ways that we can all still be together, while apart.
Finally, jumping to the Pre-Meet:
Life still continued as usual for me. I remained busy with work and school that I reluctantly left out the Pre-Meet photos after Final Bout Special Stage West. It is a bittersweet feeling to finally post these photos. It almost holds as a documentation of the last time we have all interacted so closely together in a large social gathering.
The Pre-Meet was held on Friday, 3/13/20, at 8 PM. Just less than 24 hours prior, we were all informed that Final Bout will no longer be open to spectators. Luckily, the meet still went on for the public.
Please enjoy these photos!
