Jimmy Up & Friends!
Hi!
I apologize for my extra late post for Jimmy Up & Friends, life seems to sometimes get ahead of us. Especially when the pandemic has, and continues, to affect all of us. Amongst all of the ups and downs.. there is a lot to look forward to.
I had a conversation with my cousin recently about how negative emotions are inevitable; it will have an impact on our day to day lives that can affect the most positive people we know. I’m sure some of us have wondered when these negative emotions will go away. He then shared this quote with me from Jojo Rabbit (2019 film) that I feel can resonate with a lot of us having troubles in our lives:
“Let everything happen to you: Beauty and terror

Emotions are a funny thing. We are not sure why we feel the way we feel sometimes. As long as we are aware of how we are feeling, instead of suppressing it, we should be able to get through it.. because no feeling is final.
Now, on to the event!
Toward the end of January, we had the opportunity to go to @JimmyUp ‘s event at Willow Springs - Horse Thief Mile. This event was much more smaller than the usual Jimmy Up events held, with less than 20 friends invited. Hosting an event is not an easy task, so it was great to see @JimmyUp and @whoismoisesperez driving instead of running around hosting their usual big events. Everyone had a laidback and relaxing day with plenty of track time.
