Power Over It

Good morning!

Here is a quick little (blurry) set from the Power Over It event with Sara Choi. I have been eager to go to an event for a while, but have been buried in work and studies. Sara invited me to her night event for Power Over It. I knew I really wanted to stop by during the busy week, so I made it out before a work night with the help of dragging along some of my bestfriends to car pool. It had been a while since I have been to AVS and I had not yet seen the widened track that was completed a couple months prior. Entering the gates and hearing Pete say, “Hey, I haven’t seen you in a while! You’re not driving?” reminded me how often I used to go to AVS pre-covid.

When we got there, it was already 7:30 PM and had less than an hour to shoot in the daylight. The weather was almost perfect and the sunset was an amazing backdrop for driving in the desert. There was a neat little strip of colorful lights down the front straight that helped add to the night drifting, live DJs next to Sara’s FD3S to add to the vibe and delicious food by Klutch Kitchen for everyone looking to grub at the track. Everything was topped off with a mix of really chill people to enjoy the evening with. I had to cut the night early to make it into work, but the event went on to 3 AM. Thank you Sara for the invite!

Here are some photos from the evening. Hope you all continue to take care of yourselves! <3
