Club Loose Handz Daisuki

Hi, it has been a while! Even though it has been a couple of months since the last post, it seems that there are constant changes going on each month. From quarantine, to no quarantine - to now a temporary curfew.. and then possibly talks of another lockdown looming around?! And just like that.. the toilet paper was off the shelves again. It has been 8 months since the whirlwind of events have began taking place. Everyone has been adapting to changes in their life due to everything going on; some people began new business ventures, others closed theirs, many are still out of work or found new work.. there just seems to be a lot of ups and downs, which in itself can be discouraging.

Which brings me to put a little light on what is now very real, “first world problems”. It’s something we all joke about. We live in an age where many will compare their lives to others on social media platforms. We post things that give each other the constant push to continue to be productive or do something fun, that everyone else would like to do - but maybe too much of one thing can be a bad thing.. where maybe some of us will start feeling lackluster because we can’t have the same experiences as others due to their situations. With everything going on, some of us have more time than others to spend looking at social media and what seems to be everyone else’s successes. It is okay if it seems like nothing amazing is happening in your life - I am personally grateful that you are here, and that you are healthy. Focus on yourself, your wellbeing, and do what you want.. when you want! It may not be your time now, but it can be later. We have quite a future ahead of us! Let’s stay positive.

Had the opportunity to jet to Club Loose Handz Daisuki, a @loosesocksdaisuki and @clubxhandz collaboration event, held at @applevalleyspeedway. This event’s registration was restricted to s-chassis and ae86 only, with registration for other cars opening up days before the event for the remaining spots. The event was held from 8 AM to 5 PM on the main track, with a mini layout on the skid pad ‘til 2 AM, and a 3 car tandem competition held in the early afternoon.

It was nice to see friends and their families out and about again. Good job to everyone that attended and took the proper precautions to keep themselves and their family safe with wearing masks/keeping a distance from one another.
